Roger Laurella has had a lifelong interest in the subject matter of UFO’s. He joined The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) in 2009 as Field Investigator. Since then, he currently serves as the International MUFON Case Management System Coordinator, as well as Illinois Assistant State Director and a Strike Team Area Research (STAR) member.

During his tenure with MUFON, he has conducted numerous investigations into alleged UFO sightings and related experiences. He has discussed the subject of UFO’s on numerous radio shows and also presented on the subject to various local MUFON state and adult audiences.

Roger has been examining the detailed history of UFO sighting reports and associated patterns, as well performing US statistical sighting analysis and trending.

Roger strives to have an open mind regarding the UFO phenomenon. However, he also acknowledges the need for a skeptical approach when examining each individual report. Despite the large percentage of misidentifications and hoaxes in UFO data, Roger recognizes what appears to be a fundamental phenomenon beneath it all.

Roger has worked in the Information Technology field for over 40 years and specializes in recovery of Information Systems
